RAISIN OATMEAL DROP COOKIES 
1/2 c. soft shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. self-rising flour
1/3 c. butter
1 tbsp. cinnamon
2 c. rolled oats, quick
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. raisins

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix shortening, sugar, eggs and molasses thoroughly. Sift together flour and cinnamon and stir. Stir in rolled oats, nuts and raisins. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 3 to 8 minutes.
