OATMEAL DROP COOKIES 
1/2 c. shortening (white Crisco)
1 1/4 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1/3 c. sorghum molasses
1 3/4 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. rolled oats
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Mix ingredients in order presented, one column at a time. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2" apart on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake in 375 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes until lightly browned. Let cool a minute or so before removing from cookie sheet to cool.
