POOR MAN'S LASAGNE 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. medium chopped onion
3 cans (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 c. cottage cheese
1 tsp. salt and pepper each
1/4 c. sour cream
8 oz. cream cheese (softened)
8 oz. (4 cups) wide noodles

Combine ground beef and onion in skillet and cook until brown. Drain, add salt and pepper and tomato sauce. Simmer slowly. Meanwhile, combine cottage cheese, cream cheese and sour cream. Cook noodles and drain. Place 1/2 of noodles in greased 3 quart casserole. Top with cheese mixture, then remaining noodles. Pour meat mixture over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 6.
