MY MOM'S DUMPLINGS 
2 c. flour
Pinch of salt
1/2 c. Crisco
5 to 7 tbsp. water
1 tsp. poultry seasoning

Mix well with fork. Roll out 1/2 inch thick or thinner. Cut in 1 inch squares. Have chicken and broth boiling. Drop in dumpling 1 at a time, stirring after each drop to prevent sticking. Cook on medium heat until thick and done. (Best dumpling you will ever eat!)
