APPLE CRISP 
6 or 7 apples, Pippin, Granny Smith
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
1/3 c. oil

Spread pared and sliced apples in an 8 x 12 inch baking pan. Sprinkle on sugar mixed with cinnamon.

Topping: mix egg, flour, baking powder and salt until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Pour oil over all. Bake at 350 degrees until apples are tender and top is brown.
