APPLE CRISP 
8-9 Granny Smith apples
2 cubes butter
2 c. brown sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In baking pan 11 x 16 inch place Granny Smith apples, peeled and cut into pieces.

In large bowl combine 2 cubes butter and 2 cups brown sugar; mix well with hands. Top apples with brown sugar and butter mixture. Cover Apple Crisp with foil for the first 20 minutes, remove foil and bake uncovered 25 minutes longer. Total baking time 45 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream or half & half.
