TERIYAKI BARBECUE SAUCE 
The following makes enough to fill a ten ounce jar which previously held instant coffee.

3 tbsp. butter
4 garlic cloves, chopped
2 sm. onions, chopped or finely sliced
3 c. catsup
1 tsp. chili powder
3 tbsp. mustard
6 tbsp. Teriyaki or soy sauce
12 tbsp. brown sugar

Melt butter. Saute garlic and onions together until tender. Remove from heat. Add catsup, chili powder, mustard, and Teriyaki or soy sauce. Stir until well mixed. Add brown sugar. Stir while adding.

Excellent for pork chops, ribs, chicken, beef cubes, steak, and chopped meat (hamburger or meat loaf).

This recipe was great! I took it down to a much smaller amount and omitted the chili powder. I also used minced garlic and added some pineapple juice and let it simmer on the stove for about 10 minutes. mmmm good!

I only had enough ingredients to make a third of the recipe. I had also ran out of brown sugar so I used honey instead. Nevertheless, it was quite yummy! I didn't really taste a lot of teriyaki since I used soy sauce. I strained the end result because I wanted a smooth consistency and it had a very nice body to it. Thick and rich, not too sweet. I added a bit of hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce since it's what I liked. This recipe will be my favorite sauce to use for sure!
