HOT DOG SOUP 
4 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. sugar 2 c. onion, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
2 1/4 c. tomatoes
3 c. water 3 beef bouillon cubes
1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. uncooked rice
6 to 8 hotdogs, cut in slices

Melt butter and sugar in large pan. Add onions and celery, saute (stirring often) 10 minutes or longer. Stir in tomatoes, water, bouillon cubes, Worcestershire sauce, dry mustard, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Add rice; simmer covered, stirring often, 4 to 5 minutes or longer. Add hot dogs. Cook 5 minutes more. Makes 2 quarts.
