BANANA BREAD 
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. wheat germ
3 med. very ripe bananas, mashed (about 1 c.)
1/4 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. oil
4 egg whites

Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix in the wheat germ. Add all remaining ingredients and beat until well blended. Place in an oiled 8x4 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done.
