FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE 
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
1 stick butter
Nuts, if desired
1 1/2 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1 (#303) can fruit cocktail
1 flat can crushed pineapple

Mix and bake in square cake pan at 300 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve warm or cold with Cool Whip or whipped cream.
