2 c. boiling water
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. orange Jello or 1 (6 oz.) pkg.
1 pt. vanilla ice cream
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 (13 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Dissolve Jello in water (use pineapple syrup and orange liquid as part of water). Add rest of ingredients. Chill and serve. Top with whipped cream or Cool Whip, if desired.
