SCALLOPED APPLES 
6 med. apples
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. flour
1/3 c. butter
1 tbsp. lemon juice
3/4 c. brown sugar

Pare, core and slice apples. Place in a buttered casserole and add the cinnamon, salt, lemon juice, and water. Mix the sugar, flour, and butter together until crumb-like in consistency. Spread this over the apples and bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. NOTE: For diabetic, replace brown sugar with granulated brown sugar replacement. Serves 6.
