PINEAPPLE OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 (20 oz.) can Dole crushed pineapple
1 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. butter
1 egg
3 c. rolled oats (quick or old-fashioned)
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 c. Dole raisins
1 c. Dole natural almonds, toasted, chopped

Drain pineapple well, reserve 1/2 cup syrup. Cream sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Beat in egg, pineapple and reserved 1/2 cup syrup. Combine remaining ingredients; blend into pineapple mixture. Drop by 2 heaping tablespoonsful onto greased cookie sheets. Shape with back of spoon. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes until golden. Cool on wire racks. Makes about 3 1/2 dozen cookies. Or 12 ounce package milk chocolate chips.
