2 (16 oz.) sour cream 4 tbsp. mayonnaise Onion powder Dried dillweed 1 (3 lb.) round loaf marble rye bread 2 pkgs. chipped beef Dried diced onions Garlic powder Chop chipped beef into small squares. In large bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, and diced chipped beef. Season to taste with dillweed (approximately 1 1/2 tablespoons), onion powder (approximately 2 teaspoons), garlic powder (approximately 2 teaspoons), and dried diced onions (3 tablespoons). Hollow out the center of the bread, leaving about 1 inch of bread around the outside edge. Cut the center piece that you take out of the center into bite size pieces. Place the hollowed loaf of bread on a round serving tray. Be sure there is enough room around the outside of the bread to arrange the pieces of bread. Pour the mixture into the center of the hollowed bread. Keep refrigerated until served. |
