FREEZE SLAW 
SYRUP:

1 c. vinegar
1 tsp. celery seed
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. mustard seed

Mix together all ingredients and heat until sugar is dissolved. Cool before adding to cabbage.

SLAW:

1 head cabbage, shredded
1 green pepper, chopped
1 tbsp. salt
1 carrot, shredded

Mix cabbage and salt; le stand for 1 hour. Drain and squeeze out juice. Add pepper and carrot. Mix well. Add syrup; blend well. May be frozen for several months.
