RICE PUDDING 
1/2 c. raw rice, cooked in salted water (equals 1 1/2 c. cooked)
3 c. scalded milk
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
3/4 c. cold milk

Mix sugar, cornstarch and cold milk together. Add to rice and scalded milk in double boiler.

Add to rice mixture and cook until eggs are set. Turn into buttered baking dish. Cover with meringue.

MERINGUE:

3 egg whites
6 tbsp. sugar

Bake until browned.
