RICE PUDDING 
1/2 c. rice (raw)
1/2 c. sugar
1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk plus water to make 1 qt.
1/2 c. raisins (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla

Put all ingredients together in casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour stirring occasionally. Remove from oven. Serve warm or cold. Can also be cooked in microwave.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
