FRENCH COFFEE CAKE 
4 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. warm milk
3 eggs, separated
1 env. dry yeast
1/4 c. warm water
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. sugar
2 c. ground walnuts
1 1/4 c. confectioners' sugar blend with milk or cream

Sift together flour, sugar and soft. Cut in butter until size of small peas. Add 1 cup warm milk and well beaten egg yolks, stirring until soft dough is formed. Add yeast dissolved in warm water for 10 minutes. Beat, let stand in cool place overnight. Divide dough into 3 or 4 parts. Roll each piece into rectangle on floured board to 1/4 inch thickness.
