BEST MARYLAND CRAB CAKES | |
1 lb. crabmeat 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1/2 c. soft butter 1 sm. onion, minced 1/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper 2 tbsp. mayonnaise 1 to 1 1/2 c. coarsely broken crackers Remove any bits of membrane from crabmeat. Mix with other ingredients. Shape into 6 cakes. Fry in a small amount of cooking oil until golden on both sides. Serves 6. |
