1 pkg. 12" soft tortillas
1 lb. ground beef, optional
1 pkg. taco sauce mix, optional
1 (16 oz.) pkg. shredded cheddar cheese
1 jar salsa
1 c. sour cream, optional
1 c. diced cooked onions
1 tbsp. butter
1 can refried beans

Place butter in fry pan and melt. Place a soft tortilla in the pan and fry for 1 minute. Turn the tortilla over and fry on the opposite side. While it is frying, spread a handful of cheese on the tortilla. Place a second tortilla on top of this and turn over. Spread heated refried beans and onions on top of the tortilla. Top with salsa. Cover this with another tortilla. Turn again. Cook for 1 minute. Place on a plate, cut and enjoy. Add sour cream to taste.

If you use the optional ground beef put it with the refried bean layer. Cook it with the taco seasoning prior to placing it on the tortilla.
