DILLY CASSEROLE BREAD | |
1 pkg. yeast 1/4 c. warm water 1 c. cottage cheese (heated to lukewarm) 2 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. butter 1 tbsp. instant onion 1 unbeaten egg 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. dill seed 1/4 tsp. baking soda 2 1/2 c. flour Soften yeast in water. Combine cheese, sugar, onion, butter, salt, soda, dill seed, egg and softened yeast. Add flour to make a stiff dough, beating well after each addition. Cover and let rise in warm place until double in bulk. Stir down and turn into greased 2-quart casserole. Let rise again until double. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until golden. Brush with melted butter. |
