YEAST BISCUITS 
2 c. sifted flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 yeast cake or pkg.
1 c. lukewarm water
2 tbsp. shortening

Sift flour, sugar, and salt together. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add to dry ingredients. Add shortening.

Dough will be soft. Turn on floured board, knead enough to roll. Cut into biscuits. Let rise at least 30 minutes. Bake at 425 degrees until brown.
