CABBAGE SOUP (KAPOSTA LEVES) 
Nice ham hock, ham bone, or 1 to 1 1/2 lbs. Kolbasz
1 med. head cabbage
4 qts. water
6 med. potatoes
1 med. onion
Salt and pepper to taste

Simmer bone or meat 2 hours, add cabbage shredded. Cook 20 minutes then add potatoes and onions cut in cubes, cook until potatoes are cooked to the softness you like.
