APPLE MYSTERY DESSERT 
Great served with whipped cream sprinkled with cinnamon on top with small scoops of ice cream!

3/4 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
1 c. light brown sugar, packed
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of mace or nutmeg
dash of cinnamon
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. tart apples, peeled and chopped
3/4 c. walnuts, chopped

Mix and sift flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, mace or nutmeg and cinnamon. Stir in unbeaten eggs and vanilla. Fold in the apples and walnuts. Turn into well greased 9-inch pie pan. Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes or until brown and crusty.
