1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. M&M'S® (plain)

Blend shortening and sugars together in a bowl. Beat in vanilla and eggs. Mix dry ingredients together. Stir in M&M'S®. Drop by teaspoon on baking sheet.

Bake at 375°F for 8 to 10 minutes.
