SKEWERED BEEF BUNDLES 
1/3 c. soy sauce
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1 lb. beef round tip steak, cut 1 inch thick
1/2 lb. fresh whole green beans
4 lg. carrots, cut into 3 inch long sticks
2 tbsp. butter, melted

In medium bowl, combine soy sauce, sugar, and ginger. Cut steak into thin strips. Cover; marinate meat in soy mixture for 2-3 hours at room temperature, stirring occasionally.

Meanwhile, cook beans and carrots separately in boiling salted water until barely tender; drain well and cool. Wrap half the meat strips around bundles of beans; repeat with remaining meat and carrot sticks. Secure with wooden picks. Thread bundles ladder fashion on two parallel skewers. Brush with melted butter. Grill over medium coals about 4 minutes. Turn and grill for 3-4 minutes more. Brush with melted butter once or twice more during cooking. Serves 4-5.
