SWEET & SAVORY MEATBALLS 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. fine, dry bread crumbs
1/4 c. onion, chopped fine
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 sm. clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp. shortening
1 can Campbell's golden mushroom soup
1/2 c. canned tomatoes, drained & chopped
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. soy sauce
Salt
Pepper

Mix beef, crumbs, onion, egg and garlic. Shape into 16 balls. Brown in skillet with shortening. Pour off fat. Add remaining ingredients. Cook over low heat for 20 minutes. Makes enough sauce for 2 pounds meat. Good served over rice.
