SAUSAGE AND LENTILS | |
1 c. lentils (soak lentils in water overnight) 2 tbsp. butter 2 med. onions, chopped 2 med. garlic cloves, minced 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 1 bay leaf 1 tsp. sugar Salt and pepper 3 tbsp. chopped parsley 1 to 1 1/2 lb. kalabasa sausage, chopped After soaking lentils overnight, combine with remaining ingredients. Simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours at least. Can be frozen. |
