RAISIN PIE FILLING CAKE | |
1 c. sugar 1/2 c. butter 2 eggs, beaten 1 can raisin pie mix 2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 2 tsp. cinnamon Nuts (opt.) Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Put in pie mix. Stir in by hand. Fold in rest of ingredients. Put in a 9"x13" greased pan. Sprinkle a little sugar on top. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees. CREAM FROSTING: 2 1/2 tbsp. flour 1/2 c. milk Cook together until thick; cool. Cream 1/4 pound (1 stick) butter and 1/2 cup sugar. Add milk and flour mixture. Beat until smooth. Add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Mix until creamy. |
