STOVE TOP CORN BREAD 
1 c. self-rising cornmeal
1 heaping tbsp. self-rising flour
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. warm water
1 1/2 tbsp. cooking oil or butter

Heat 9-inch frying pan on top of stove (medium-low heat) with cooking oil or butter. In bowl mix other ingredients. Put in hot pan and cover. Cook until bottom is brown and top is dry-looking. Place in oven on broil until top is browned.
