LEBANESE RICE (PILAF) 
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 (16 oz.) box Vermicelli pasta (broken into 1/2-inch pieces)
1 cup jasmine rice
2 cups water

Heat butter till hot and add broken Vermicelli. Cook till brown (this makes it have a nice nutty flavor but don't burn it). Add jasmine rice, stir then add water. Cover and turn down heat and simmer for 20 minutes.

Fluff with a fork and enjoy!
