MICROWAVE CARAMEL POPCORN | |
1 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. butter 1/4 c. white corn syrup 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda 2 batches popped popcorn In a 1-quart glass measuring cup, bring sugar, butter, salt and syrup to a boil. Cook 2 minutes on full power. Remove and add baking soda. Stir well. Put popcorn in brown paper bag. Pour syrup over the corn, close bag, shake well and cook on full power for 1 minute. Shake well, cook for 1/2 minute. Shake until popcorn is well covered. Pour into bowl and serve. |
