POPCORN CAKE 
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. white syrup
1 c. whipping cream
1 tbsp. butter
Popped popcorn

Cook all ingredients until forms a soft ball in cold water. Take off heat and add pinch of soda. Pour over popped corn and stir well. Put in angel food cake pan and put in refrigerator to cool, then serve.

NOTE: Enough popcorn to fill angel food cake pan is a good measure for amount of pepper corn for cake.
