SOUTHERN CAVIAR 
3 (16 oz.) cans black eyed peas, drained
8 sm. white onions, thinly sliced & separated into rings
1 tbsp. coarsely ground pepper
1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1 sm. jar capers, drained
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 (16 oz.) bottle Italian dressing
3-6 dashes Liquid Smoke

Mix above ingredients. Cover and refrigerate at least 24 hours, stirring occasionally. Drain and place in serving bowl. Serve with Triscuits.
