CIDER BAKED SQUASH 
2 med. acorn squash, sliced into 1 inch circles & seeds removed
1/2 c. apple cider
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. ground mace

Place squash in a 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan. Pour cider over squash. Combine all remaining ingredients and sprinkle on top. Cover with foil. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes or until squash is tender. Yield: 6 servings.
