7 LAYER SALAD 
1 head lettuce
1 red onion
1 can black olives, whole, pitted
1 box frozen peas
2 c. mayonnaise
4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (sharp is best)
1 lb. bacon, fried & crumbled
Touch of milk
Touch of red wine vinegar

Clean and break up lettuce; place in bottom of a glass bowl. Cut red onion in thin slices to make second layer. Cut olives in half and layer. Add peas still frozen or just thawed for next layer.

Mix mayonnaise with small amount of milk with red wine vinegar to taste - pour on for 5th layer. Spread on cheese for 6th layer then crumble warm bacon for 7th and top layer. Place in refrigerator 1 day before serving. Mix before serving, if desired.
