LOW - FAT ONE STEP LASAGNE 
2 1/2 c. grated skim mozzarella cheese
2 c. no-fat cottage cheese
1 egg
1 jar low-fat spaghetti sauce
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. thyme
1-2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 lb. lasagna, uncooked!
2/3 c. water

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Use 9 x 13 inch dish for baking.

2. Set aside 1/2 cup mozzarella for the top, at end.

3. Combine cottage cheese, 2 cups mozzarella and egg.

4. In separate bowl, add spices to spaghetti sauce. Spread 2/3 cup of this sauce over the bottom of baking dish.

5. Place 5 uncooked lasagna noodles over sauce (probably 4 lengthways and part of 1 crossways).

6. Place half of cheese mixture on top of noodles.

7. Pour another 2/3 cup of sauce over cheese mixture.

8. Place another 5 noodles on top of sauce and top with remaining cheese mixture.

9. Pour remaining sauce over all. Top with reserved 1/2 cup mozzarella.

10. Pour the 2/3 cup water around edge of lasagna, cover with foil, and bake for 1 hour.

11. Remove from oven and let set for 20 minutes before cutting (Very Important).
