2 c. crushed pretzels
1/2 c. melted butter
1 tbsp. sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
2 c. pineapple juice or water
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen strawberries
1 (9 oz.) container Cool Whip

Mix pretzels, butter and 1 tablespoon sugar. Press into bottom of 9"x13" pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool.

Mix together cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and Cool Whip. Spread over pretzel crust.

In a saucepan heat water or juice, stirring in Jello until it dissolves. Remove from heat. Add frozen strawberries to Jello and stir until Jello has thickened substantially. Pour over cream cheese mixture. Cover and chill until firm.
