2/3 c. butter 1 (1 lb.) box light brown sugar 3 eggs, beaten 1 tsp. vanilla 2 3/4 c. sifted flour 1/2 tsp. salt 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips 1 c. chopped pecans Melt butter in large saucepan. Remove from heat. Add sugar, then eggs and vanilla. Stir. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Add to mixture in saucepan. Stir until well mixed. Add chips and nuts. Bake in greased 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. |
