CONGO BARS 
2/3 c. butter
2 1/4 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
2 1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. walnuts, chopped

Melt butter and combine with brown sugar. Let set for 10 minutes. Beat eggs, one at a time, and add to sugar mixture. Add remaining ingredients. Spread in greased deep cookie sheet or jelly roll pan for thinner cookies. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, or until light brown. Cut in squares.
