CHUCK TERIYAKI | |
1 tsp. garlic salt 3 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tsp. ground ginger 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. cooking oil 1/4 c. water 1/4 c. vinegar 1/2 c. soy sauce 1/2 tsp. meat tenderizer, per lb. 4 to 5 lbs. chuck roast or steak Sprinkle meat tenderizer on 3 hours ahead, 1/2 teaspoon per pound on each side. Cut into strips or cubes, remove excess fat. Combine remaining ingredients. Add meat and allow to marinate 2 1/2 to 3 hours or overnight. Turn meat 2 to 3 times. No salt is needed. Grill or broil. |
