BETTY'S COLE SLAW WITH MUSTARD | |
1 firm head of cabbage 2 carrots 1/2 onion 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. vinegar 1/4 c. prepared mustard 1/2 - 1 c. mayonnaise Tabasco sauce Shred vegetables. Add sugar, vinegar and mustard. Then add 1/2 cup of mayonnaise and then up to 1 cup if needed for consistency. Add a few drops of Tabasco to taste. Better if prepared the day before use. Makes 1 to 2 quarts. |
