ANN'S CABBAGE APPLE CHEDDAR SLAW | |
1 cabbage, shredded (6 c.) 1 1/2 c. celery, chopped 1/2 c. onion, chopped 1 c. mayonnaise 1/2 c. sour cream 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 c. cubed or shredded cheddar cheese (4 oz.) 4 med. apples, cored and cut into chunks (can be peeled and shredded) Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Toss with shredded cabbage, celery, and onion; refrigerate 2-3 hours. Add apples and cheese just before serving. Large recipe serves 10-12. May be halved, serves 4-6. |
