SPECIAL K BARS 
6 c. Special K cereal
1 c. sugar
1 c. white Karo syrup
1 c. crunchy peanut butter
1 (8 oz.) Hershey bar

Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Grease well a large cookie sheet 15x11.

Put the Special K in a large bowl; set aside.

In a saucepan bring the sugar and Karo syrup to a rolling boil. Remove from heat then add peanut butter. Stir until well blended. Pour over cereal; mix well.

Spread over the cookie sheet. Break the candy bar into even squares. Place squares over the top of mixture. Place in oven 2-3 minutes - watch carefully. Chocolate should be just soft enough to spread. Spread evenly on top. Cut immediately. Cool in pan.
