CHICKEN A LA KING 
6 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. flour
2 c. chicken broth
2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. minced onion
4 c. cooked chicken pieces
2 c. cooked peas and carrots
2 chopped pimentos
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms

Prepare sauce. Melt butter; add flour and blend thoroughly. Cook until frothy. Add broth and milk. Cook until thick. Add spices and onions. Add chicken, peas and carrots, pimentos, peppers and mushrooms. Heat thoroughly. Serve very hot over rice.
