12 slices white bread 12 oz. sharp cheese (sliced) 10 oz. pkg. chopped broccoli (cooked and drained) 2 c. diced ham SAUCE: 6 eggs (beaten) 3 1/2 c. milk 2 tbsp. instant onion 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. dry mustard Use a donut cutter - cut 12 slices of white bread into donut shape. Use scraps to line a well greased 13x9 inch pan. Over bread lay 12 ounce of cheese. Over cheese spread chopped broccoli. Over broccoli place 2 cups of diced ham. Next lay donuts down overlapped 6 down one side and 6 down the other side of pan. Mix and pour sauce over casserole. Cover and refrigerate 6 hours or overnight. Bake uncovered 325 for 55 minutes. |
