HAMBURGER CHOP SUEY 
1 lb. ground beef
1 tbsp. drippings
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 can mix Chinese vegetables
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 med. onion, minced
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. celery
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. cold water
1 tbsp. molasses

Cook beef onions in drippings, stirring frequently for about 10 minutes. Add salt, pepper, celery and water; bring to boiling point. Cover, simmer 10 minutes. Add vegetables and heat through. Blend cornstarch with cold water to make paste stir into hot mixture. Cook until slightly thickened, stirring constantly. Add soy sauce and molasses. Arrange hot cooked rice. Serve at once.
