PARMESAN-WALNUT BREAD 
3 c. all-purpose flour
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 beaten egg
1 3/4 c. milk
1/3 c. walnut oil or cooking oil
1 c. chopped walnuts

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cheese, baking powder and salt.

In a small mixing bowl, stir together egg, milk, and oil; add to flour mixture, stirring just until combined. Stir in 3/4 cup of the nuts. Turn into a greased 9"x5"x3" loaf pan. Sprinkle the remaining nuts over the top.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove loaf from the pan; cool completely on a wire rack. Wrap and store overnight before slicing. Makes 1 loaf, 18 servings.
