3 env. Dream Whip
1 (#1) can crushed pineapple
1 c. sugar
1 c. boiling water
1 lg. angel food cake
4 tbsp. cold water
2 tbsp. unflavored gelatin
1 sm. can coconut
Maraschino cherries (opt.)

Soften gelatin in cold water - add boiling water and stir until dissolved. Add sugar, lemon juice and pineapple. Chill until thickened. Whip 2 envelopes Dream Whip according to package directions. Fold into gelatin mixture. Line 9 x 13 inch pan with waxed paper. Cut or break cake into small pieces.

Place alternate layers of cake and gelatin mixture in pan until all is used. Chill overnight or until well chilled. Mix third box of Dream Whip. Spread over top of cake. Sprinkle with coconut and garnish with cherries. Refrigerate until served.
