CHERRIES 'N CREAM 
1 cup heavy cream
2 teaspoons sugar
2 1/4 cups (approx. 1 pound 5 ounce can) cherry pie filling

In a small electric mixer bowl, beat cream with sugar just until peaks form. Carefully fold in cherry pie filling until evenly blended.

Spoon mixture into 6 parfait glasses or 1/2 pint freezer/canning jars. Freeze for 2 hours or until firm. If desired, at serving time garnish top with additional whipped cream. If you freeze this dessert in canning jars, it can be packed up in a lunch box or taken on picnics and roadtrips.
